Thin tan head, even surface. Orange rust colored liquid, completely opaque and pureed. Tarry, dank nose, damp leafy qualities, cocoa, mineral water, the white citrus tends to get cloaked, peach, mango, apricot fruit, not all that tropical, blunt dissolve. In the mouth it’s full-bodied and tends to be bottom heavy, the florality anchored to the palate. Cocoa, pie dough, doesn’t quite get to caramel. Tangerine to lemon citrus. The herbaceousness is flat and lacks bite. The more you sip the more you feel it lacks clarity among the components and conversely it’s not a well-developed chorus. Papaya, mango, touch of pineapple, breaks into tropical territory without the juiciness. Every time you try to just sit with it and relax it comes up wanting. Drinkable for sure, but leaves you unmoved in the end. (Canned 2/11/20)

Pours hazy amber with a thin white head that lasts. Aroma is fruity floral with some pine notes. Flavor follows aroma with floral and fruity notes. Feel is good with soild coating mouthfeel. Overall a nice DIPA.
