Bright hazy yellow pour with a fluffy pure white head. Silky mouthfeel is nice. Double dry-hopped flavor is intense grapefruit and orange peel with a dry, somewhat grainy finish. Pretty aggressive, a little too in your face for my liking. I don't mind bitter, but this was over the top. Don't let the temperature get over 50 degrees--booze creeps in.

Picked this up recently at Gary's in Wayne as this was the first Jughandle beer that I've ever had. Nothing connotes New Jersey highways like the word jughandle and this might have been the typical beer from this neck of the woods along the lines of Magnify, Bolero Snort, and Icarus as it was a hazy juicy bomb that was easy on the alcohol and quite enjoyable to quaff at the same time!

Nice pour to this as the liquid looked like a juice bomb from the get-go as it was a murky apricot in hue. A solid head topped it off as deep, layered, rings of lacing lined the side of my pint glass all the way down; easily covering a majority of it's surface. Deep and dank Galaxy hops, turbid lime, and a bit of citrus pith filled the nose as the taste was more bright and enjoyable with hints of tobacco and deep outdoors also in the mix. A bit of wheat and grain emerged once this warmed up although I don't think they were actually used in the making of this beer! Regardless, the carbonation was spot on as the aftertaste was a weedy, dewy tinge that was lasting but not even close to being overbearing on the palate.

A nice amount of booze was in here as I felt a slight warming effect take hold of me but never did I feel that it was a detraction from everything else that was going on. Canned on 3/19, this held up nicely over the last six months as there were just a few large, dark bits of sediment at the bottom of the can that I swirled out at the end. I'd love to have the other iterations of this beer, just to see if they're on par with this. Enjoyed this brew as it had a lot to offer and was easily accessible at the same time!
