This Imperial IPA is anything but bashful. Full of bitterness, flavor, and booze. Showcasing the hops Mosaic and Simcoe, you will get a huge bash in the face of tropical fruits, grapefruit, and pine. This beer is so easy drinking you won’t have a clue it’s over 9% ABV until the burro has already bucked you to the floor!

one of their more popular brews from what i understand, and not bad, but for me it was the least impressive of the three i had when i was in cheyenne last week, its a fine ipa, but its light, generic, and without anything to make it stand out. its clear which i like, and the execution and fundamentals seems quite professional, which is a good start, but the hop profile smells and tastes like countless other beers out there, and really it ends up being just an ipa, checks all the boxes but doesnt really excite. its light and clean to drink, bright in feel, minimal in body and grain character, and very well carbonated, its lively and even summery to me, well refined. i just with the hop profile had a little more going on, its conservative i think, just a touch of bitter citrus to it, a light aromatic pine, but its there for just a second and then gone on the swallow, not approaching the robustness of classic west coast examples of the style, despite the similar appearance. its almost refreshing, and its a good compliment to the grilled chicken sandwich i was enjoying alongside it, but its too easily forgotten or lost in the crowd of beers just like it. nice to be able to find a trusty glass of quality ipa anywhere you go, and thats what this is, but thats also all it is, and i was hoping for just a bit more out of it after hearing such good things about accomplice...

On draught at Old Chicago. Pours a clear medium gold with a minimal head of foam. Extremely bitter and fruity nose. Taste isn't quite as bitter but it is fruity in a tropical way. Grapefruit with some malty sweetness. Bit of onion. Medium body.
