From a Howler bought at Liquor Shed.
Pours a clear gold with an inch of foam, good lacing, foam shrinks pretty quickly.
Sweet caramel malt nose up front, boozy, gots some citrus hops in there.
Taste is a mix of sweet malt and citrus hops, the latter adds a nice pungent bitterness. Alcohol is noticeable and slows the drinking session. The finish comes across, to me, as harsh.
Medium bodied, it has a scratchy feel on my throat.
Good but like all? Imperial Pilsners, I would say that this is in no way crisp and clean. A pass in the future.
