Imperial juice, new release, 21.02.19. Hazy orange color, white head, aroma of hops, citrus and tropical fruits, medium sweetness, medium hoppy bitterness, medium body, very well hidden ABV.

Ruby clear colour, with a small/medium head which disappears fast.
Smells fruity, like jam.
Tastes like dried fruits (or maybe over-ripped fruits), cognac, caramel. Sweet during tasting and with a small bitterness after.
A beer that's pretty complex, bring new aromas in and a barley wine-ish feel.
Maybe a more developed post-taste would have been nice, but that doesn't mean that its qualities should suffer.
A very well done experimental beer!

Dark golden, dirtied orange, medium foam, soon to some sticky lacing and a bubbly floating speck.
Biscuit and yeast on the nose, with peach pulp and old bubblegum. Weirdly, hints of vanilla, or rather vanillin and oatmeal. Malts in the front, hops subsided.
The situation changes with the taste, with some juicy grapefruit and pineapple, overripe peach and canned mixed tropical fruit. A stronger malt sweetness develops, managing to counter any alcohol. Some nice herbal pinches here and there, amplified towards the end, with some pine resin and some faint fresh cut grass. Faintly dank. Still, the bitterness is quite low.
Aftertaste has fruitiness and some sugary sweetness. Sorta like candied grapefruit peel and pineapple syrup. Fruit jellies come to mind. Some yeast and adjunct malts linger on the palate, too. Medium to heavy body, soft prickly carbonation. Alcohol's beautifully handled. Even 3 bottles in. Good. On the sweet malty side, "coagulating" some of the juiciness. Perfectly enjoyable tho.
