Intense black look with a perfect foam collar.
Superb smell: hazelnuts, chocolate liqueur, cappuccino..
Dense and oily body, well aerated and slightly acidic. The aromas are very unexpected: caramelized walnuts, but not hazelnuts, molasses and maple syrup, a drop of licorice, prunes aged in alcohol, a "touch" of scotch and, of course, a fine and bitter aroma of coffee freshly roasted.
Bitter ash aftertaste.
In my opinion, one of the best Imperial Stouts in 2020 and the most interesting mix of flavors in the Black Pot series.
