Copenhagen 11/5 2025. 44 cl can from Hos Rune Bottle Shop, Søndre Boulevard, Kbh. V. Pretty cool, chaotic drawing on the black, white and sickly yellow can. Looks like a Zombie with a mid-life crisis.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized frothy head. Stable- Settles as a paper thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a subtle sweet for of tropical fruit soon overpowered by a stronger citric scent with a sharp dry edge, Sweet peach and mango. Grapefruit and lemon. Acerbic whiff of dry tart berries. Austere.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a tart streak. Lingering, Finish is dry.
Zesty yet dry.
