Silkeborg 20/7 2020. 33 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. White and grey label with logos from the two breweries doing the collaboration.
Pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as a 1 cm thick, fluffy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet maltiness mingling with a fruity yet chemical odor. Some Christmas fumes peeking in. Sweet caramel with sugary hints of syrup. Cinnamon. Tart orange zest. Petroleum and alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture. Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and watery. Lingers shortly into nothing.
Quite thin in flavor with a light smell of Christmas. Not the most convincing Winter ale.
