One of the most popular styles at the moment is the kettle soured beers – they are generally low in alcohol (and bitterness), but refreshing and very drinkable, especially in the warmer months. Because of their sour character, kettle sours go particularly well with fruit. We used over 50kg of tart gooseberries, which go well with the already sour character of the beer. Pairs beautifully with cheese and light snacks.
