After just drinking a Ukrainian beer called Teteriv that tasted somewhere between paint thinner, poppers and glue, I'm really hoping this is a little better. Apparently it is a living legend, so I'm therefore hopeful. Label looks kind of simple.
Very watery colour. Very light head. Musky kind of paint thinner type of aroma. A little painful to the nose when breathing in.
Taste is much much better than the aroma fortunately. Malt is quite sweet. Some honey elements. 1000 times better than the 8% Teteriv I just partly drunk. Probably better than Lviske also. Feel has a little more thickness and body. Reminds me of honeycomb. Yet not too sweet. Hops however are not very noticeable. And the alcohol is very well covered up, despite the aroma being like paint thinner.
I'm not a fan of honey in beer, but it is still totally fine and a great drink if you are in the mood for some honey. Quite a lot better than I was expecting...
