Copenhagen 26/5 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Sibbarps usual design with a Heron spreading it's wings. This time in light green.
Pours unclear, light amber with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is sharp, citric with a moderate malty sweetness in the background. Light odor of sweet apples and peach. Soon overpowered by a strong acerbic odor of citrus, Grapefruit and lime. Quite on the hoppy side.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a mild bitterness rummaging in the background.
Quite Mellow IPA especially if I take the very citric nose in to consideration. But well balanced and easy to drink.
