Copenhagen 11/5 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb F. Silhouette of a Heron stretching it's wings on the label.
Pours unclear amber with medium-sized off-white head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Massive lacing.
Aroma is medium intense balancing malty sweetness and citric bitterness. Caramel, light roast. Lighter citric odor of citrus, pine and lemon. A little spiciness in the background. Cumin and black pepper.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering. Finish is dry.
Pleasantly soft and round Rye IPA with a nice bitter bite.
