The back label has what appears to be "06.10.16 06:45 L6C" printed in white.
Appearance: The body is a light colored orange and gold color with hints of light brown. The complexion of the body is fairly hazy. The head is very short and white with a creamy texture. It has good retention and delivers some spotty lacing.
Aroma: I am getting a faint aroma of lemon and what smells a bit like sweet corn.
Taste: The flavors are good here with a focus on lemon and a bit of orange rind. Just a touch of lime.
Mouthfeel: It is a light bodied beer that is slightly off-dry with moderately light bitterness and just a modicum of texture.
Overall: it is a pretty good pale ale with a focus on a bright zesty lemon flavor and a hint of lime. It is a nice refreshing beer and I would recommend it, especially if you are curious about what king of pale ales Australia is putting out. With all imports it can be a gamble as to whether or not you will have a product that is treated well. If I was in Australia I would most likely buy it based on the positive experience with the beer as an import. As an import it was worth buying at least once to try but I don't know if I would buy it again over the fresher beers that I can get here. It is nice to know that I could get a good pale ale if I visited Australia though.
