Tasting notes 6/13/17: Pours to a beautiful permanent head that laces well. Color is hazy yellow (would want to see brilliant clarity here). Smells weak and bready, not much going on there. No hop character in nose. Flavor is bland and nondescript. This is a miss for commercial beer. Although not bad by homebrew standards, there is no need to put out a beer that tastes like this. Granted it was canned in March and I am tasting it in June. But still, I've had three month old blonde ales with more character.

Clean, insipid blonde ale. Primary flavor is a fresh bread-like yeastiness. Sweetish finish, not much in the way of hop flavor or aroma - maybe a faint herbal note. Nothing inherently wrong here, but I don't see the need for new breweries to come out with these "gateway" craft beers in 2017. Surely we have evolved beyond this practice.

Pours an effervescent gold with 2 fingers of ivory colored head. Average head retention & lacing
S: Faint breadyness that builds once warm, some floral hop notes
T: Bready, slight floral hop flavor & a little pear up front. Dryness, a little aspirin & sweet breadyness as this warms. Finishes sweet & dry with a little floral hop & grassyness
MF: Light body slight carbonation, okay balance
Sort of a throw back to the average Golden ales of the 90s, okay, but nothing special here

Appearance: Light Golden
Aroma: Bready, Mixture of Dorito chips and fresh morning funk, sweet caramel
Taste: Same as aroma with a slight citrus fruit finish.
Feel: Light body, well carbonated.
Overall: I have high hopes for this brewery and can't wait to see what they can do as they grow.
