I tried this at the brewery whilst watching my Browns. It poured a clear dark amber with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent was faint and non descript. The taste was very sweet with Belgian brown sugar twang. The mouthfeel was medium in body with subtle carbonation. Overall its was an ok beer.

From the growler via Jungle Jim's Fairfield in a snifter. This excellent brew
pours a nice dark mahogany with ruby highlights and a very nice head of
fine beaded foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin fine layer, and shows some
astounding creamy lacing. Nose of peaches, brown sugars, caramel malts, smoked
malts, and subtle booze. Flavors leap forth with a rich peach and dark brown sugar
note awash in warming booze and peat smoked malts that are drenched in caramel
malts and balanced nicely with lightly herbal hops that bring this beast full circle to a
perfect state of balance and perfection for the style. Excellent mouth feel; medium body,
light carbonation that is just lively enough to raise the heft of this beast, and a nice lightly
warm sweet finish.
This one, thou a one off winner from the Butler County Brewers Association, should be
a permanent fixture in the line up and entered into national contests. It is absolutely one
of the best I have had in the style and worthy of accolades.
Cheers
