A: Pours a slightly murky medium to dark reddish purple in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate ruby red + garnet red + purple colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense foamy creamy pinkish tan head that slowly reduces to a large patch of medium thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly heavier than moderate aromas of tart + sweet raspberries with a light presence of lactose sweetness and lemon citrus tartness. Jammy with a light amount of wheat malts and minimal sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light flavors of wheat + cereal grain malts with a hint of grainy sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of jammy slightly sweet, slightly tart raspberry with a light amount of lemon citrus tartness. No perceptible hop presence and no bitterness with lingering sightly sweet, slightly tart raspberry flavors.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth and creamy with a hint of acidic prickliness and dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Very enjoyable with a wonderful combination of sweetness, tartness, and berry flavors. Super smooth mouthfeel from the lactose + nitro - definitely one I would have again.
