tastes as billed, to me these mexican lagers all taste the same. This is not great nor terrible but just on the mark for this style. I find the style does not benefit much from craft innovation.

Poured from the can into a tall Libbey style pilsner glass.
Deep lemon gold, supper shiny and clear, with excellent head retention of two fingers, and bleach white swiss cheese looking bubbles. Hints a little green towards the edges of the glass too. Very nice looking lager.
Aroma is clean lager smelling, a faint hint of possible corn sweetness, but some nice zesty citrus peel in the mix also. Fairly straight forward, fruity addition is a little more subtle than obvious, but doesn't mask any faults.
Oh is this surprising on the palate. Crisp at first , but there's more of a fruited body ale like quality that comes off from the added fruit of lemons and limes. Almost juicy quality but with clean pasty pils malt and adjunct light hinting sweetness to contrast wonderfully. The aftertaste is really well done, extremely pleasant , with a zesty oily lime and clean lager crispness to match. There's even a touch of pleasurable chewy malt, and maybe even some biscuit hiding in here which is a real surprise.
This is a real fun beer to drink, and very tasty, I will be having more of this.

Mexican style lager brewed with lime peel and lemon peel.
As expected, this is light, citrusy, and refreshing. No off flavors. Great in summer or at the beach.
