Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Dark amber body, mostly clear, with a faint amount of fine carbonation. Fluffy light off white colored head, a solid three fingers with good retention and staying power.
Simple hop aroma, a bit of pine mostly, an odd dank slightly and musty tone that's a little dirty smelling strangely. Neutral malt and yeast presence.
Interesting hop flavor and palate. Classic sensing East coast like character, hinting sharp pine, but with some tea like bitterness kicking in. Slight hints of marmalade like fruit, but with a much more earth toned bitterness. Finishes with real good orange citrus character and a hint of juicy texture.
Neat mixing IPA and pretty solid and simple drinker.
