Look: It pours orange and had good clarity.
Smell: It has an off white head with excellent head retention.
Taste: It has a grainy sweet aroma with very low orange. It has a grainy sweet flavor with a bit syrup and orange taste. There is a low herbal flavor.
Feel: It has a medium high body with a sweet aftertaste.
Overall, a bit slick on the palate with an interesting set of flavors.

DATE: May 6, 2022... OCCASION: a cold, rainy May night calls for hopefully something bright and encouraging... GLASSWARE: Schneider's Edel-Weisse pokal... impressive two-fingered off-white head foams out to a smear of uneven froth... its body is a darker amber, handsome but concealing of its effervescence unless you inspect it up close... Saaz, earth, honey, banana (?), toasted, spiced malts, hard fruits, hints of nuttiness and buttery notes... not an overwhelming array, but appealing enough to continue forward... this drinks smoothly, a cleanser that betrays its 7% ABV with a flattened flourish... bready, sweet, toasted and bright, this offers an earthy, drinkable experience that is lighter than its ABV and longer on its draw than expected...
