Conscious Craft Brown Ale was brewed especially for the Conscious Corner stores: Roots Market, Great Sage, and Red Wine, Beer, and Spirits.
Our friends at Oliver Brewing Company in Baltimore used organic 2 row and chocolate malt and organic Pacific Gem hops to create the next installment in the Conscious Craft line: a malty brown ale that is balanced and sessionable.

Cola brown with khaki head, retention isn't great, a little bit of spotty lace
Smells like dried sour plums and cherries, a little bit of caramel and cocoa
Earthy and nutty with a bit of cocoa and sour dark fruit
Medium to medium-heavy body, appropriate carbonation- just enough to keep it from feeling flat
Not bad, though I didn't care for the sour fruit character. I disagree with the label calling this sessionable, though
