Pitch dark color, and not too sweet -- both positives -- but taste is a bit too boozy. If possible, I would recommend just getting a single rather than a 4-pack, as you might find the high ABV its primary selling point. The brewer has apparently done different variations, including one that adds chocolate, cheesecake, and peanut butter to the mix, but this 2021 iteration is more like a Ten Fidy with an extra dash of whiskey. On first taste, I compared this to a boilermaker, but that sells the beer a little short. I won't purchase again, but it grows on you.
