From the small can, it pours a slightly hazy lighter amber color with a nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets a dose of citrus. The mouth follows with an up front citrusy bite, followed by notes of citrus leaving a zing in the cheeks and malt. Mild citrusy bitterness in the aftertaste.

Appearance: Cloudy gold, avg size white head, good lacing.
Aroma: Citrus and tropical fruit stand out with a little peach adding to the mix.
Taste: Delivers what the nose foreshadows. Herbal hops showing up in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Smooth but still a bit bitter. Medium bodied and well carbonated.
Overall: Finding it hard to differentiate it from a NEIPA.

Poured from the can into a nonik pint glass. Play ball February 19th 2020.

Pale, and hazy yellow, almost a lemon green like color hinting at NE style but not quite exactly. Big giant bright white fluffy head with three fingers of shampoo like soapy bubbles in the mix. Some good retention and cling as well. Pretty decent for a pale ale.

Faint touches of light lemon and herbal citrus notes for the aroma. Hits a little spicy, but also a good light and airy fruit angle. Digging this mellow lemon tone quite nicely.

Palate hits the spot nicely. Simple drinking easy good malt backbone feel, with even perhaps a touch of cracker and biscuit like malt. More big light bitter lemon flavors wash with a good zesty sweetness as well. Finishes a slightly chalk hint but not that horribly dry either. Kind of mouthwatering flavor too strangely for a pale ale, which is perfect in the wheelhouse.

This is a solid good pounding pale ale, a great sensing Summer beer too.

L: Dark caramel. Clear, with little head.. no lacing 2 minutes in.
S: Orange citrus, not heavy, but at the front. Slight note of caramel malt, heavier as it warms.
T: Malt up front, citrus hop right behind it. Malt is borderline sweet, but held in check.
F: Thin, light bitterness and carbonation.
O: I liked that the malts balanced out the hops. Not a bad beer at 4.5. I'd have a few at the game or a BBQ for sure.
