Canned 8/15/23.
Not-quite-clear, orangey-amber, with one finger of light yellowy-tan head.
Smell is light toffee and caramel, with hints of spiciness and fresh crackery malt when the head fades.
Taste is light toffee and butterscotch with just a touch of dry toast and bitterness at the end.
Feel is light and smooth, with moderate, very, very fine , soft-ish carbonation tingle, that finishes with a very finely-sharp bite. This lends to a slight drying effect.
Overall, it lives up to billing : a pleasant, easy-drinking, "just a beer"-type beer, that's good with a meal, or almost anytime. I'd like to try it fresher, but when you're out of town , visiting, and walking everywhere, you have to take what you can find, eh? Anyway, if you're looking for something to unobtrusively wash down a meal, &/or sit down & refresh, in good company, this is a good choice. :)

Draft pour into a pint glass.
Amber copper appearance with a foamy head and a little bit of lacing. Toffee, malt, bread, slight sweetness in the background. Medium body and carbonation. Not a big amber person but this was really good.

12 ounce can poured into a tumbler pint glass.
Pours cloudy amber with a two finger plus, off-white head, moderate retention with a bit of lace. The nose consists of earthy hops, caramel and toasted malt with a bit of orange-like zest and tea. Nice flavor, rich and malty and medium sweet to open, sweet tea, caramel malt, and some toasted malt as it drys. Earthy and woody mild bitterness picking up on the back with a hint of orange zest as in the nose.
The moderately carbonated medium-weight body approaches crisp but is mostly smooth and creamy with a fairly quick finish. Overall leaning to malt and somewhat English in character. Nice Amber.

Poured from the can into a nonic(k) pint glass.
Pale amber, tinged with a light orange rust colored body. Slightly hazed but not terribly, with an off white head managing a solid easy three fingers. Minimal retention and a light slow descending top. Decent looking beer.
This is a real nice nose. Tea like with hints of herbal and floral hop, mixing with a light toasty malt. Hints English like in aroma with more of a classic bitter and a real delicious one, with light hints of cookie dough and biscuit.
Palate keeps it simple. A little bit hinting wet on body, but a nice mix of orange and biscuit like tea flavors with some richer dark malts punching in. Fruity light finish, with marmalade faint like spices. Light touches of malt and bitterness on the finish.
Seems to remind me more of a classic English bitter, but doesn't steer me wrong
