Nearly clear amber body. Large white head faded quickly and left spotty lacing. Citrussy hop characteristics; resinous notes come in late. Bready malts offset the strong hop presence in the taste. Nice level of bitterness throughout. Really good mouthfeel adds to the overall enjoyment.

Deep gold. Nice clarity. Aroma: good balance of malt and hops. Tastes quite hoppy. surprisingly bitter yet satisfying finish. Let's hear it for old school.

So this one breaks out a little bit with some seriously medicinal and citrus notes that ramp up some flavors not usually seen in this style. That said, the aftertaste provides the balancing touch of bread note and this does kind of fit the style. I like the approach, though....
