The beer pours a nice off-white head that quickly dissipates. The beer itself is a clear brown color that looks nice.
The smell is good. It has a delicious banana bread smell with a light raisin note in the finish.
The taste is good. It has the same banana bread notes with a floral hop note in the finish.
The feel is good. It has a smooth medium body with a dry finish. There isn't much carbonation to it though.
Overall, this was a good beer and good representation of the style. I'm glad they brought it back for this summer since it seems to go down pretty well even in the summer weather.

So, I have been using DC as my prime local beer store since I moved to this area eight years ago. Interesting style choice for spring/summer. Head doesn't last. Nice chocolate note ibn the nose. Tasty with a bit of cocoa in the finish. Satisfying texture, with a little chewiness. This brew is likely a one off, but not a bad effort.
