Passed by here and decided to try all the beers.
Same basic setup as Breakroom with a few cosmetic differences, namely the yellow bird logo plastered over everything. Bartender was a young guy that was stiff and didn't really engage patrons at all. The only time he spoke was when I had to exchange a beer that a fly had landed in. Didn't explain the beers, ask how they were, anything. A small personal pet peeve, they charge tax on beer at the bar and round up your change.
Beer selection is fairly ambitious, with a Gotlandsdricka of all things, but quality wise, they almost all missed the mark. This was especially true with their IPA/APA, heavy caramel malt bombs more appropriate for a 90's brewpub. Other styles were thin or just plain boring. Not much creativity on display here.
The menu is ambitious too, but good luck trying to sell an $18 sausage in this neighborhood. I guess i'd return to try the food sometime, but unfortunately the beers were mostly forgettable.
