Smaller head. Some streaking lace. Golden color, hazy.
Deep caramel malt nose. Fresh hop cone spice. Attractive.
There’s a light earthiness to the darker malt. Above average body with an elevated carbonation. The bitterness is like white pepper. It lingers moderately long.

Nice one for a low-cal. Slightly hazy golden color, minimal lace. Smells faintly of pound cake, pine, pineapple. Medium carbonation, a little citrus and hop bitterness and pineapple in the mouth. Excellent psychedelic can art. Rather good considering it's 120 cals for a tallboy.

Can to becher pint glass.
The appearance was a fairly thick burnt yellow to orange milky color (good haze to it). Slight quarter finger's worth of white foamy head softly dissolving. Some semi-sticky lace wraps around the glass nicely.
The aroma had some orange peel, pineapple, white grape juice and some melon rind.
The flavor leaned slightly towards the sweet end showing some refined notes of melon rind sweetness, more of an orange pulpy sweetness/subtle juice with a light dry melon/piney character. Not much of an aftertaste but seemed to slightly have some rind/dry grassy and melon character.
The mouthfeel was just short of being medium bodied with a fine sessionability about. Carbonation felt good. Some dry juicy aspects pointing to a good finish of peppery rind and white grape skin.
Overall, while this is supposed to be a "session IPA" I'd say the brewers did pretty much what they were shooting for. I'd come back to this.

"Groove me baby"
Opened and reviewed: 7/19/19
It's got that frosted gold color! Deep haze white out with yellow and honey highlights. A rather fine white foam caps it off, dissipates to minimal coverage.
What a wonderfully pungent nose! Dense hop aroma's via: peppery pineapple, tropical haze, white grapes and sweetly tinged fruits all around.
For a lower abv style IPA, it sure has some dank ass flavor. Tons of hops, grains, and silky smooth feels .
Funny how the sweet aspect to the hops fades to an earthy and grainy taste...
Peppery citrus and muted pineapple take over fast. Silky smooth, light grainy malt gives a lager type taste which changes the balance.
Overall, low ibu crush city and full of flavor, but not necessarily to my taste.
