Double Dry-Hopped PULP Daddy features more than DOUBLE the hops of original PULP Daddy and it goes down like a tropical juice! PULP Daddy has become Greater Good's most popular offering, so it was common sense to see what a DDH version looked like! Big, giant notes of orange, pineapple & mango all the way through for this masterpiece from the Citra hops. DDH PULP Daddy is truly our most hoppy beer ever.

Pours a clear deep amber with a fluffy white head that lasts. It has strong dank flavors to go with the citrus and pineapple notes.

Pours a hazy light orange color with a long-lived 2F head and moderate lacing.

Smells of slightly dank floral hops, citrus and sweet fruit.

Tastes of orange, lemon, pineapple and mango with a slightly bitter and sweet finish.

Medium body and light carbonation. Dry mouthfeel.

This is a very tasty and juicy super NE IPA brew.

Can dated 9/17/22 into pint glass. Pours a hazy honey color with a persdistent off-white head. Initial impression is smooth and juicy citrus, grapefruit, mango, and a touch of lime. Mouthfeel is soft and thick. Finish fades to a slightly sweet citrus orange. Overall, a very enjoyable DIPA!

Can at Nana's beach.
Hazy dark yellow in color with a good sized frothy white head.
Earthy grassy citrus and tropical fruits with bits of bready malt and higher alcohol to counter. Not bad.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Luke's in Plymouth for about fourteen dollars. My fourth brew from these guys, have had many more. This was fine, but the description is way off - this is dank as f@#$, not juicy.

DDH Pulp Daddy from Greater Good Imperial. Received on 9/4/21 from @Rub_This_BBQ in NBW BIF #13. 16 oz can stored upside-down at home at 42 degrees. Reviewed 18/4/21. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Bottom of can stamped “CANNED ON 03/17/2021”. Served at 43.7 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. Final temperature 49.8 degrees.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Pale Straw (SRM 2), murky and nearly opaque. Unfiltered.
Body – Pale Straw (SRM 2), murky and opaque. When rear-lite, same.
Head – Large (Maximum six cm, aggressive center pour), white smoke, high density, average retention, diminishing to a nine to thirteen mm jagged crown and a thick partial cap. As the head collapses, extreme examples of torn curtain lacing remain above the crown. Second pour produces a high density 1.2 cm head.
Lacing – Good. Head retraction and volume reduction leaves wide three-dimensional bands of tiny to medium bubbles. See also above.
Aroma – 3.75 – Citrus, tending to sweetened grapefruit, and conifers, kind of weak. No malt, no yeast.
Flavor – 3.75 – Begins with some grapefruit-like citrus in the foreground but lacks the refreshingness of citrus. Mild resinousness, too weak for pine but still coniferous. No malt, no yeast. No alcohol (8 % ABV, as marked on container) taste or aroma. No gastric warming occurs. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl.
Palate – 3.75 – Medium, approaching creamy, soft carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 Good for the style but generally weak for a DDH brew.

Thanks to Rub_This_BBQ for this one, from a ninja box during NBS BIF #13. !6oz can (dated 3/17/21, I think. The printing is a bit wonky) poured into 14oz teku. Poured the expected fully murky yellow orange color of the style, with an inch of white head that had decent retention and light lacing.

The aroma was led by frooty hops, as is typical for the style. what differentiated was some hop bitterness, and a (very) slight touch of grain. The flavor profile hewed closely, although the grain did seem to fade out. Joosey froot loops is definitely the the game here.

The body was the typical medium of the style, mostly smooth (a touch of alcohol roughness on the finish), and a semi-sweet finish. Drinkability, apart from that alcohol, was good, a pretty easy quaffer. Overall, a solid example of the style. worth a shot if you see it.

Pours a big, frothy, uneven snow white head; good retention, and fantastic lacing. Body is hazy, opaque, and a hue somewhere in between lemon yellow and orange.

Big hoppy aroma, featuring primarily citrus (orange, grapefruit, lemon) accented by tropical (mango, papaya, pineapple) fruit, along with mild dankness and light grassy, bright herbs.

Smooth, creamy, and incredibly juicy. Mango, papaya, orange, cream, basil. A very slight graininess is all the malt presence manages.

Pours yellow gold with persistent lace. Smell of mango, pine resin, tangerine. Not as strong as I'd hope, but still distinct. Tastes of... tastes of "wow!" is what it tastes of. Strong, flavorful melon, lemon, pine bite, but not bitter. Low-medium carbonation, sticky, pleasant aftertaste. Goes down like a 4%'er at 8%! An exceptional beer.

Canned 11.19.20. Consumed fresh 12.12.20

A: The head is large and pillowy soft, like a cloud, resting in the vessel at two fingers with an outstanding resilience. The coloring is deep and hazy orange juice, not quite pulpy thick, but it will do. A good rush of strong effervesce is on display with a solid ring lacing decorating the glass.

S: Lots of juicy pulp grapefruit on the opening nose, very good strength, and as wet as the ocean. Some background of peaches and tropical fruit, particularly pineapple. The grapefruit is of course the forefront winner here.

T: Lots of sparkling sharp and dank grapefruit flavor, pulp juice, with semi-dry orange. Flowery dry hops come on with strong dank citrus, sticky resins, and dank pine and oranges. The flavor is huge in your face backed by some alcohol muscle.

M: Lots of fulfilling creaminess, foams well, and builds on the hold. Active carbonation. The feel is aerated, soft, and creamy, fluffy on the tongue and hold.

O: A big and dank start, dry hopped finish, for flavor. The mouthful is especially noteworthy and exceptional. The grapefruit pulp depth and flavor adds the hop muscle that warrants respect and repeats.
