Picked up a single can at Bradfords Liquors in Plymouth, Massachusetts for about four dollars. My sixth brew from these guys. Canned on date of 9/5/25. Just ok for me.

Tis beer has a cloudy gold color and a thick white head. The nose is aappealingly spicy; cinnamon notes stand out. Carbonation is high. The palate is merely okay. It's warming.

Poured from a can dated 08/12/2024 into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy orange color with a smallish head of off-white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading over time and leaving islands of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is quite strong of a roasted and toasted pumpkin aroma mixed with other spice smells of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Along with these smells comes some a good deal of sweetness with notes of brown sugar and caramel as well as some harvest fruit of pear and apple. Mixed within, is a bit of oak and some light hay with some other notes of a biscuit and bready smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a biscuit and bready flavor paired with some minimally toasted pumpkin flavors. There is a bit of light bitterness and sourness upfront as well, with flavors of a light vinegar and lemon as well as a touch of earthiness. At the same time there is a bit of sweetness, although not as much as would have been anticipated from the nose. Flavors of a light brown sugar and caramel are present with a touch of apple and pear. The spice is lighter then would be anticipated as well, with the cinnamon, nutmeg and clove growing just slightly stronger as the flavors advance. Toward the end, the wood that was in the nose comes to the tongue, leaving one with a lightly spiced, and lightly sweetened, but slightly sour pumpkin taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is middle of the road in thickness with a moderate carbonation as well. Overall, decent for the style and abv, making for a slower, but still easy sipper.
Overall – OK, but certainly not the best pumpkin brew out there. I would certainly choose other over this one.

I'm not typically a fan of pumpkin beers, but this one is really good IMHO. Pours a lovely medium amber color, subtle aroma of pumpkin spice. Robust flavor - really nice malt backbone with a definite note of pumpkin, but not overwhelming in anyway. Spices are there but used sparsely resulting in a really refreshing beer. This is the perfect pumpkin beer, not overly sweet and doesn't taste like pumpkin pie, really a balanced beer. Well done!

Pours a light copper color with over a finger of head. The nose is fairly bland with no strong hints of pumpkin or seasonal spices. The flavor has notes of either pumpkin or sweet potatoes with very mild spicing accompanying the slight sourness of the gourd. The body is fairly hearty for the style and hides the 8% abv very well.

Look – Burnt orange color with a hazy body. I got one finger of off-white head which fizzled out quickly.
Aroma – Decent pumpkin presence with the subtlest hint of cinnamon
Taste – The spices really shine here ad a wave of cinnamon and nutmeg crash into my palate at 88 mph bringing along just the tiniest tinge of vanilla. The pumpkin flavor isn’t watered down like a lot of beers of the style. All it needs is some graham cracker crust to taste like liquid pumpkin pie.
Mouthfeel – Full-bodied with no trace of that 8%. Maybe some lingering yam flavors, but it’s forgivable.
O – An impressive Pumpkin Ale for sure. Better than most options you’ll see on the shelves in the Fall. Incredibly easy to drink for an Imperial.
