Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass; canned on 10/10/20 something. Pours golden copper with thin head; faint smell of ginger bread and cinnamon with even slight taste. Not bad and wonder if it'd be better / more pronounced if fresher.

Pours a copper-amber color with a thin head.
Some smell of gingerbread.
Weak.mouthfeel.
Sweet, some Tate of gingerbread, but overall, simple set of teamsters compared to many winter warmers.
Thin, light compared to what an ‘imperial’ beer should.
Disappointing.

Can from the Advent Box
Mostly clear deep auburn in color with a decent sized off white head that slowly dissipates. Big spice aroma and flavor moderate bready caramel malt. Could have been a touch sweeter to stand up to the spices imho.

The brew is brown, toward the lighter side, reasonably bright and rather opaque. It now rests in a clear glass Imperial pint mug after being removed from a pint can. The modest head is a very light tan. A comfortable union of cinnamon, ginger and molasses reaches the nose. This might be the closest taste to actual gingerbread of all those making the attempt. Probably, a generous dose of molasses to taste is the reason. It really can't get much more precise than this, as it tastes just like liquid gingerbread. It's very well balanced between the spices and the breadiness of the malt. What it doesn't bring is an enduring head, glass lacing, great carbonation, nor heavy taste reference to its 8% ABV. There is some alcohol bite. If you've any interest in trying a gingerbread beer, this is the one of them.

Canned 2021/10/29
Pours a creamy semi dense 1.5 finger tan head with moderate retention, wispy lacing, semi hazy ruby auburn reddish color
Nose delivers what I expect, winter holiday spices, molasses and sweet candy, fair balance of spices with ginger, cinnamon and others, biscuity Graham cracker cookie, dark dried fruits
Taste brings more, molasses and candied fig date dried fruit up front, then nicely balanced spices with ginger, cinnamon, my brain wants to say nutmeg and allspice but not sure, let's say winter spices, Graham cracker with some vanilla icing as well, sweet brown malt and caramel toffee notes, light spicy hop bitterness, semi sweet finish, hint of smooth alcohol
Mouth is med to fuller bod, rich almost chewy like, med frothy carb, light warming alcohol
Overall actually quite nice, this could go either way but they blended a nice malt sweet beer with balanced spices and thankfully not overboard, alcohol gives just the right amount of warmth, nice beer
