A pour of the contents of a pint can into a clear glass Imperial pint mug reveals a berry colored brew. It's a rather dull and opaque violet, with a brownish tint. The head is copious, very light pink and it endures. The berry aroma is readily noticed, with that hint of sourness accompanying. The taste isn't very sour, probably more tart than sour. The balance between the blackberries and blueberries is excellent, so that one doesn't stand out. Overall, it tastes like a sweet and sour berry candy. The glass lacing isn't keeping its own with the long lasting head. The body is more than sufficient to carry everything. It’s almost like there were black currants included, with the soft extra body they bring. The sour/tart presence lasts through the finish very nicely. There's no real evidence that this has an ABV exceeding eight percent. No doubt about it, this is one good and very drinkable fruited kettle sour.

Canned 11/17/21
A collaboration with Lone Pine resulted in this Kettle Sour brewed with blackberries and blueberries. To be honest I went in blind with this one, just grabbing the can mindlessly for something refreshing, but now I’m thinking it’s gonna be something borderline smoothie beer. Let’s find out
Pours an opaque (but not smoothie like) pinkish purple with 3 fingers of pink head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves decent lacing
This is pretty evenly balanced in the nose between sweet and tart. I’m picking up on aromas of jammy sweet blueberry, vanilla, graham cracker, tart blackberry, raspberry, and light lemon juice
Once again, this is surprisingly balanced and not over the top in taste. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting sour blackberry, raspberry sorbet, jammy blueberry, lemon juice, and light green apple. The swallow brings notes of tannic blueberry skin, sour blackberry, vanilla, lemon juice, light graham cracker, and general lactic acid
A medium body pairs with moderate acidic carbonation, resulting in a tart yet thick beer. Finishes a tad too sticky even with the acidity
This is pretty damn solid as far as the style goes. Nothing crazy and still has a touch of beer character in the form of graham cracker-esque sweet malt, but not much

Poured into a 20 oz Snulip glass canned on 11/17/21. Pours an attractive murky purplish pink with a three plus fingers sticky light pink head that leaves loads of thick streaks of lace with nice retention. 4.25
Aroma sour apple, raspberry, a little musty, vanilla, and blackberry. 3.75
Taste is sour apple hits me first, raspberry, a little musty, blackberry, and a little vanilla in puckering finish. 3.75
Mouthfeel is pretty large for the style, maybe a little dry, plenty of carbonation, and at 8.1% it goes rather easy. 4
Overall this is nice, I won’t miss it when it’s gone. Worth a shot for sure. 3.75
