Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazed orange juice color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading over time and leaving a good sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a sweet juice aroma, being a mix of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon, and tangerine. Along with these smells comes notes of lemon, grapefruit, and orange peel, adding a bit of hop and bitter. There are also some lighter notes of peach and apricot as well as a little bit of a coconut smell.
Taste – The taste is strong of a citrus flavor as one may have anticipated from the nose. It begins with a big showing of grapefruit and orange juice mixed with a bit of lemon and lime. While light upfront, there is also a pineapple flavor, which really amps up as the taste advances on the tongue. The hop is also ever present with a big showing of grapefruit and a bit of herbal hop as well. Toward the end, while the pineapple gets stronger, the taste bitters a bit more as well, with some orange and grapefruit rind joining in, leaving one with a very citrusy and pineapply, juicy, and moderately hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is medium in thickness and creaminess with a moderate carbonation as well, making this dangerously easy to drink at 8 %.
Overall – A rather nice citrus centric IPA with a good easy drinking nature and feel. A nice summery brew.

The pint can's contents emptied into a clear glass liter mug and here's what we have. To see, it's just another apricot-amber colored American IPA. This one's a little lighter in color and has a very modest head that appears to be enduring. It smells like an IPA with additional pineapple flavoring. It tastes like an American IPA with pineapple flavoring added. Overall, it's a good AIPA and probably doesn't need the fruit add on. There's a nice body and hoppy finish. Maybe, if you're bored with the basics of an IPA, this will do. It doesn't stray too far from those basics and the pineapple is neither too pronounced, nor too sweet. In this case, the added flavor is natural, not artificial. The glass lacing is scant, but of no concern. It can't be said that there is a great mouthfeel here, perhaps the cost of adding a natural pineapple inclusion. As with many from this brewery, a high ABV is very well disguised.

A great NEIPA of pure tropical goodness. And YES i can see this being great for a week at the beach, the 8% ABV is kinda well hidden and the flavors really come through. Will have to stock up for July vacation. Very tasty.

Canned on 5/10/22 - pours with a fluffy head that fades to a ring of foam. Citrusy aroma that's not overly strong. Has Galaxy and Sabra hops and is brewed with pineapple. It's a big beer at 8% so I can't really see myself consuming this on a hot summer day. Overall, it's a well crafted beer but not really my cup of tea. I wouldn't buy it again.
