Unfiltered originals. With the unfiltered 3-hop recipe, our brewers wanted to rediscover the original taste of our first courses. A clear, balanced, veiled and unfiltered appearance to make the aroma of our hops more intense

Bottle 0.33L.
Slightly hazy pale yellow body with an average, frothy white head, mostly diminishing with virtually no lacing.
Light-to-moderate malty (grains, straw) and light hoppy (herbal) aroma.
Light-to-moderate bitter and light sweet flavour; average-lasting sweetish finish with light notes of bread.
Light body with watery texture; average carbonation.

Today is W, 13 Mai 2020 & I am in deep isolation during the COVID-19 crisis, giving me ample time to clear out my backlog. This one will CANtinue a few days of imports for The CANQuest (tm). This one came to me from local, in-person trader @tone77 following a trip to Italy!
From the CAN: "Il numero perfetto per un gusto equilibrato (The perfect number for a balanced taste)"; "Birrificio Angelo Poretti valganna dal 1877 (Angelo Poretti Brewery Valganna since 1877); "Le Originali Non Filtrata (The Unfiltered Original); "3 Luppoli (3 Hops)"; "Equilibrata e Fragrante (Balanced and fragrant)"; "Originali Non Filtrata. Con la ricetta ai 3 Luppoli non filtrata i nostri mastri birrai hanno voluto riscopriereil gusto originale delle nostre prime cotte. Una bierra chiara, equilibrata, dall'aspetto velato e non filtrata per rendere più intenso l'aroma dei nostra luppoli. (Unfiltered originals. With the unfiltered 3-Hop recipe, our brewers wanted to rediscover the original taste of our first courses. A clear, balanced, veiled and unfiltered appearance to make the aroma of our hops more intense.)".
Given the previous verbiage & its emphasis on being an unfiltered original-style Lager, I have submitted a Change Request to have it identified as a German Kellerbier / Zwickelbier & that is how I will be CANsidering it in my review.
I beCAN with some gentle in-CAN agitation before Crack!ing open the vent to ensure that any & all flocculate was back in suspension. Once the Crack! of the vent had been acCANplished, I went with a hard, but not full-aggro, steady C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. This resulted in the formation of two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with excellent retention. Color was a lightly-hazy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose had a clean Noble hops presence along with a pleasant biscuity maltiness. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium, but solid for a Lager. The taste had a nice grassy, hay-like bitterness to go along with a maltiness that was more bready (sweet) than biscuity (dry). Mmm. This would be a great beer to pack in your Italian cooler to do some Alpine hiking or go for a swim in the Mediterranean Sea. Finish was dry, crisp & refreshing. I am now CANurious to try others in the series. YMMV.

I tried this beer while on vacation in Naples. Poured from an 11.2 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some malts. Taste is malty, a bit on the sweet side, refreshing. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, it's nothing special, but a decent warm weather beer.
