Pours a nice dark brown with tan head that sticks around and leaves nice lacing.
The aroma is of bakers chocolate, earthy and herbal hops, and freshly baked bread.
The taste is a little too hoppy for the expectations of the name. the chocolate notes are bitter cocoa, hints of coffee, and citrus and pine notes with some earthy elements.
Nicely balanced, a bit overly hoppy for the style. Drinkable and enjoyable.
