A: Cloudy yellow amber with visible sediment throughout. If it's supposed to be a milkshake IPA, I guess that's maybe to be expected, but frankly, it looks not at all appealing. I prefer my beer without chunks.

S: Honey? Sweet pale malt, I guess. And sort of grassy. No citrus or tropical fruit aromas. At all.

T: Grassy, bitter, boozy, piney. Since it looks more like a milkshake IPA, I thought maybe it would be super juicy but it is not that at all. Not in the way you would expect for that style, and not in the way you would expect for a typical West Coast IPA. I suppose IPAs don't have to be fruity, although I am convinced the best ones are. This is not that. The more I drink, the more it tastes sort of medicinal. I wouldn't say it tastes like Fisherman's Friend, but it's sort of unpleasant in the same way. I guess instead of helping with a sore throat or cough, it's getting me drunk. I suppose it is at least good for that, if that's the goal.

F: Whew, nothing bad to say here at least.

I feel bad for rating a beer this low. It's definitely not something I usually do. Maybe if you like your IPA to be super piney and grassy, you'll like this one, but I did not.

Eh, decent ipa. Nothing amazing. Sharp taste, not balanced nicely.

Would I buy it again? Probably not.
