Calusa snifter
Hazy peachy-gold tropicana looking color with a creamy ring of 1 finger. Leaves lots of lace behind as it recedes.
Aromas are tropical in nature. Hints of passion fruit with orange juice and white grapefruit juice. Some faint dragon fruit and mango. A little guava.
Flavor brings biscuit and bread, with hints of cracker, pine, tangerine, guava, and lemon lozenge. A very tiny note of sharp passion fruit. Quite a bit of honey and onion as well, with a resinous pine note that remains strong throughout the profile.
Feel is resinous and creamy, with lots of lingering oils. Minor to moderate alcohol warmth, moderate carbonation, lots of stickiness and resins.
Overall a decent IPA from this little-known brewery. I'd probably pick it up again if I was in the mood for a tasty resinous IPA.

12oz can. Tall & fluffy off white head caps a copper colored ale. Juicy hop aroma fills the air at the crack of the can; further inspection hints at orange, grapefruit, caramel, mango, and pine on the nose. Nice blend of malty and hoppy flavors: caramel, grain, bread crust, plenty of earthy pine, mango, orange and grapefruit, sweet mango. Fuller body, quite resinous, semi-dry finish. Good American IPA with great balance of flavor. I'd get this again.

12oz can. Served in a pint glass. Pours a cloudy copper body. One finger white head. Thin collar without much lacing. Smell is caramel, pine, resin. Straightforward. Not much different on the palate. Caramel, resin and a bit of grapefruit. Piney bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium lighter bodied, toasted malt on the backend. Fairly boring west coast style IPA.

Pours orange yellow with a slight chill haze.
Citrus dominates with notes of grapefruit and orange zest.
Flavor dominated by citrus as well.
Light-medium bodied, medium carbonation, crisp.
Overall, certainly nothing to write home about but worth a sample.

Poured 12oz can into snifter. A clearish orange color with a 1.5 finger white head that leaves behind a collar and patchy lacing. Good amount of citrus, grapefruit and unripe orange peel. There is a light caramel, honey, and bread malt aroma blended in. Some pine lingers. Bold bitterness of citrus, grapefruit, unripe orange, and some pine. A good sweetness comes in after of bread covered in honey and caramel. Finish has some interesting lemon drop like flavor along with piney bitterness. Great use of the hops in this. Medium body with full carbonation. Bitter and oily on the palate. I think this is a nice cross of old school / new school IPA from Milwaukee.
