Ok hoppy bitter beer but certainly not a NE ipa. Pours amber orange and smells of typical pint hops with a little tropical fruit. Slightly hazy but not really super hazy.
Tastes follows. Nothing special. Mediocre effort. Maybe didn’t understand the style

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on July 17, 2018. East Coast style IPA designed by Good City's Andy Jones. Not as hazy or full bodied as a traditional NEIPA.

Poured 16oz can into snifter. A cloudy gold color with a nice white 2 finger head that fades into a thick cap and leaves behind blobs of lacing. The scent is quite heavy on tropical hops, passion fruit, melon, pineapples along with some citrus. The tropical sweetness of the fruits is really forward with some light musty melon, pineapples. A bit of citrus, pine and malt in the finish. A nice medium body that is sticky and has soft carbonation. A very enjoyable IPA from GCB.
