Had on tap. Cloudy bronze with a thin white head, plenty of pretty lacing. Smells of grapefruit from the simcoe, plus pine, caramel malt, and then a floral and potpourri bouquet to finish. Taste has the grapefruit and caramel malt up front with floral hops on the back end with moderate lingering bitterness. Not very intense for a dipa. Feel is sticky, smooth, and medium bodied. Good all around

Poured 12oz can into tulip. A cloudy gold color with a nice white 2 finger head that fades into a thick cap and leaves behind blobs of lacing. The scent is quite heavy on grapefruit rind and pine sap with a does of caramel malt sweetness and some floral notes. A bit of grapefruit pith, malt in the finish. A nice medium body that is sticky and has soft carbonation. This was an enjoyable throwback type west coast IIPA.
