Table Share Amber Ale from Good City just down the road in Milwaukee. This is a 12oz. can poured into a 20oz. weizen glass. This brew starts with a one inch plus medium tan cap of foam over a dark amber with some heavy carbonation. This is a darker amber and a touch hazy. After several minutes that finger of foam is still here clinging to the side and settling in the middle a bit.
An excellent sweet caramel malt aroma, very easy to pick up.
Bitter from start to finish. A bit of a disappointment. I expected a sweeter start. With the bitterness it is hart to pick up the roasted malts or the caramel flavors.
This ale is bitter, tart, dry, somewhat of a let down after the near perfect pour and the amazing aroma.
