Our German style Pilsner is bright and refreshing with a touch of sweetness. It is named after the year Oregon bought the first 100 acres around South Falls, known as Silver Creek Recreational Area. Cheers to 1933!

16oz can. Bottom stamp is '24-074 DR. FINKELSTEIN 10/07/25'.
Clear, straw colored body. One finger of white, fine bubble head and this sticks around as a thin cap and thin ring. Leaves behind a few scattered lacing spots.
Aroma is bright with toasted bread malts and floral/herbal hops. Displays a little onion and sulfur.
Taste follows the nose with sweet toasted malts and floral hops. Has a metallic sulfur note. Bitterness level is low but present. Aftertaste gets a little fruity with earthy and sweet grains.
Medium mouthfeel. Crisp and clean finish. Excellent carbonation.
Very refreshing and solid for style, but could have more of a bitter snap.

16 oz can from Roth's Market in West Salem OR.
$11.99 a 4 pack.
I had visited the brewery a couple of times before covid struck so lets hope this is good.
Pours the typical pilsner, light clear gold. Head is very nice. Frothy and thick and stays.
Nice traditional aromas. Crackers and a slightly spicy/grassy hop. Good.
Taste similar. But with a delicious fruity bitterness half way through the mouthful, gets trad bitter just after. Very good indeed. Tingles the sides of my cheeks!
Lovely well carbonated mouth feel. Feels really great.
A really great pils from a small town brewer.

I'm just a young guy so I haven't had the chance to try every beer in the world but I am German so I know a good beer when I taste it. This is an untraditional pilsner in the sense that it lacks any bitterness. My favorite part of it is its strong yeast and bread taste. At a brewery that specializes in IPA, their pilsner reigns king.

Saaz hops, specific gravity is 1.045, IBU is 36, 4.5% alc by vol

It comes in a 16oz can. Apparently, 1933 is the year the Silver Falls State Park in Oregon was founded. The can features a topographical map design which I assume is of the park.

Overall, it is hard to find where I live but if I am ever in Oregon, I will stop by and enjoy a glass. One of Oregon's best.
