Look: Jet black with a creamy tan head that leaves great lacing behind
Aroma: Roast, chocolate, earthy hops, and light floral notes
Taste: Follows the nose well. Chocolate and roast up front with bread and earthy hops following. Strong dark chocolate throughout and mingles well with the hops. Finishes with a good bite
Mouthfeel: Full, smooth, medium-high carbonation, and lightly dry on the finish
Overall: A delicious beer here and a classic CDA/Black IPA throughout. A nice balance of roast, chocolate, and hop flavors present and epitomizes the style
