This is a great place with a great staff. I’m from out of town and book my hotel nearby just so I can go to this place several times per stay. I hope they grow and sell their beers nationally.

I visited Joymongers on a Wednesday night between about 6 and 8 PM. The space was clean, uncluttered, open and utilitarian; the decor was modernish and attractive, with lots of light-colored wood and some stainless steel. The front of the building was composed of brick and four glass-paneled roll-up doors, which were up when we visited, allowing for a nice breeze and contributing to the feeling of openness and spaciousness. There was a modest amount of outdoor seating out front, and more on the side of the building.
When we arrived, there was already a good-sized crowd for a mid-week night; the inside was maybe half-full and there were a few full tables outside. The clientele was fairly diverse, ranging from young urban professionals to retirement-aged couples, and the crowd was lively but not rowdy, clearly enjoying unwinding with a beer at the end of a workday. There were a few dogs in evidence on the patio outside, so Joymongers is dog-friendly to at least that extent. They have live music on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, which was a nice backdrop to the buzz of the crowd, but it did not get a whole lot of attention from the patrons. Joymongers does not serve food, but they seem to have food trucks most nights of the week; the night we were there food was provided by King Queen Haitian Cuisine, who, among other things, make very creditable wings and chicken tacos. By the time we left, Joymongers was fully seated.
Joymongers has 18 taps, all of which were in service when we visited. Styles run the gamut, from the ubiquitous IPAs and IIPAs to saisons, wheats and Belgians. The three beers that I tried, South Atlantic IPA, American Double IPA and Hefetrit, were all solid. The Hefetrit, a hefeweizen brewed with triticale, a rye/wheat hybrid, was particularly enjoyable, presenting itself as a well-brewed hefe with a bit of spicy rye character on the back end. Proper glassware was used in each case, and pours were done properly. Samples were provided graciously, but they don't do flights. Beer is available to go in crowlers.
Staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgable about the beer that they brew. This is definitely a great (and popular) spot to unwind with a quality beer in downtown Greensboro.

The space is really nice - indoor and outdoor areas with tables as well as the bar. The space has a pretty open feel even when it was pretty busy on the evening that I visited. There was a fairly big crowd with a wide variety of ages - 20s to 60s, if I had to guess. There was a nice buzz to the place but it was not too loud to comfortably carry on a conversation.
Beers were well poured in the proper glassware with a proper amount of head and at the proper temperature. I saw in use weizen glasses, snifter, and becker pint glasses. Beers were offered in half and full pours as well as crowlers to go. Additionally, samples were available to help you make your choice.
Bartenders were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the beers.
They had 10 or their beers on tap when I visited with 2 others that had kicked earlier - there were a couple of Belgian ales, a couple of German ales, and a handful of American styles as well.
