12oz bottle, served in a snifter glass. Pours a darker black body, one finger offwhite head, fair retention, no lacing. Smells of green pepper, cocoa, a bit of milk chocolate, a bit of whiskey. Flavour is a heavy green pepper, slight funk, cocoa, chocolate, oak and barrel. This feels like a poorly executed coffee stout. Mouthfeel is medium-lighter bodied, lower carbonation, fair bit of green pepper on the finish. Overall, this was a big letdown. If you like heavy green pepper in your coffee stouts, this is the one to go to.
