This is the only maple beer I’ve ever had, that’s at the same level as KBBS. The look is black, with no light coming through, the smell is just a straight up maple explosion. Taste is the same. As if you’re pouring maple syrup straight into your mouth. Feel is thick and oily. You don’t want this to finish, it’s so good.
Just like their BA S’mores offering, this one wasn’t just a home run, it’s a game winning grand slam. Well done, FVB!

Bottle. Little tan head. Black color.
Maple syrup bomb. So sweet and sticky in a good way. Chocolate and fudge. A bit of vanilla. Oak and bourbon is there but maple is the highlight.
Thick, full bodied. Sweet and syrupy. This is great stuff.
