Look: Slightly hazy copper. One finger of thick off-white head with excellent retention.
Smell: Very mild for an imperial. Lemon and ginger with a slight citrus hop note.
Taste: Citrus hops and lemon peel that quickly gets suppressed by hop bitterness. Hard to define any malt flavor underneath.
Mouthfeel: Full and chewy body with high carbonation.
Overall: A good idea let down by a lack of bolder flavoring to match the label.

L) Pours a lovely amber with a white head. Decent retention and lacing.
S) The smell is nice. Surprisingly toasty, with lovely caramels, grain, ginger, lemon, and floral notes.
T) The taste is lovely, light honey like sweetness, noticeable spicy ginger, and juicy lemon all work well with each other. The grainy malt backbone and light floral hop profile works wonders to work with these ingredients. It could be hoppier as a DIPA, but I think they were going for low hop, ingredient forward imperial ale.
F) Nice full mouth-feel, medium carbonation, slight tingling from the ginger. A pleasure to sip.
O) I'm a sucker for lemon, ginger, honey anything, this is no exception.
