During Prohibition Uncle Gus told us he was going to the barn to milk. Turns out he was actually firing up the still out in the woods. This dark, rich ale is full of roasted flavors and has a slightly sweet finish. Cheers Gus!

From the crowler via Jamie and Jeanette! Cheers! This solid little stout pours
a rich blackish brown with a fantastic head of tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thick
clumping layer, and shows off some impressive lacing. Nose of dark cocoa, slight coffee,
char, and subtle dark fruit. Flavors follow the nose nicely with dark cocoa, dark coffee,
cream hint, brulee, moderate char, and blackberry notes. Nice mouth feel; medium
body, moderately coating, smooth, medium light carbonation that gives a nice
effervescent lift, and a smooth char and roast finish that finishes with a bitter malt
note.
Overall, a solid session stout!
Cheers

Had this at the tap room. This is a very good version of a milk stout. It will definitely be first on my list when I visit again. This is an awesome brewery to visit.

It only goes to reason that a brewery in an old milk house would make a milk stout, and a fine one it is. Smooth and creamy, very easy drinking. Certainly worthwhile.
