A traditional German lager that offers soft malty notes, hints of caramel and a biscuity finish. With the addition of noble hops, this crispy brew is light in body with a beautiful copper hue.

On-tap at Rip Van Winkle Brewing Co., Catskill, NY
A: The beer is crystal clear light coppery amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head.
S: Light aromas of toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste has stronger flavors of toasted malts with hints of biscuit malts and slight bits of sweetness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Oktoberfest has nice malty flavors, although I wish that the smell could have been a bit stronger.
