This is right up my alley. Small sample, but the chocolate is so rich. Definitely on the sweet side. Would be a killer dessert beer. One I would seek as a guilty pleasure.

A-cherry wood brown with an off-white colored head
S-very faint scent of chocolate malts
T-comes in with a smooth and slightly bold taste of dark roasted coffee with a slightly bitter taste that reminds me if I was actually sucking on a real coffee bean...it isn't something you actually want to be doing. it isn't bad though, just mostly boring
M-low carbonation with a watery finish
D-vanished quicker than any beer i think i've ever had before. i could drink a lot of this in one night! its an easy and fun drinker.

On-tap at the brewery. Pours a dark black color with a nice creamy light tan colored head with awesome retention and lacing. The aroma is dark roasted malts and some chocolate. The taste follows the aroma with some roasted malts and hints of chocolate as well. Not bad, I expected a bit more chocolate based on the name but this is a smooth drinking beer that was enjoyable.

Had never seen this on the menu at OBC before and the server said they just brewed it for Valentine's Day - whether that means they brewed for it ONLY for the upcoming "holiday" or not I am not sure.
Poured a frothy, mountainous tan head with lacing down the glass on top of a nearly black body. Roasted malts along with chocolate (possibly some burnt chocolate as well) and caramel for a mixture of both roasted and sweet malts in the smell. The sweetness overrides the roasted for a smooth if not creamy fuller-bodied beer that is a little thick and chewy and finishes with a slightly dry backbite for balance. They hit the nail on the head with this one.
