Clear bright yellow with abundant white foam in the Affligem chalice. Lush and frothy on the tongue. Quite malty, with plenty of sweetness. Aroma of tangerine peel and fresh hay, with a hint of the barn cat. Tastes of sweet bread and straw with a dose of papaya. Then the astringency sets in, not awful, but does take over the taste sensations.
Quite resiny and the aftertaste grows more bitter as you sip. Overall, this is a very sippable and flavorful big hoppy brew. From the 16 oz can that somehow found its way to City Beer Store. "Canned on 09/24/20" on the bottom.
