2 ounce sample at Spokane Brewers Festival. Pours the color of dark espresso with a nice layer of dark tan foam. Has decent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is dominated by the coffee. The first whiff reminds me of a cup of really good espresso. The taste is also coffee forward with a touch of sweetness balances the bitterness of the dark roasts. Mouthfeel is medium and smooth.
